Candy AI Review: Chat, Voice, Video and Safety

Candy AI is an adult AI companion platform that runs in your browser. You chat with AI characters, get pictures and videos inside the chat, talk by voice, and watch Candy Shorts, the short vertical series section. It is run by EverAI Limited in Malta, which is also the name you will see on your bank statement.

Users must be 18 or older, and the terms say characters must not resemble minors. Its own terms describe the whole service as fiction, made for entertainment.

The cast is huge and varied, and new characters show up every day. In our testing the replies stayed in character, and pictures and videos arrived inside the chat itself, so you never leave the conversation.

My one gripe: every so often a character sends a clip that stays locked unless you hold Premium. That is a paywall, not a glitch. Free accounts are capped at 5 messages per character, which makes free chat a sampler rather than a habit. Premium includes unlimited messages and your own AI companions.

Voice is where Candy AI impressed us most. Of the voice replies we have tried in this genre, these sound the best, and the Premium voice calls feel natural enough that you lose track of time.

Live Action is the feature where the interaction goes furthest, and the Full Live Action Experience is part of Premium. If you care about voice and interactivity more than series, this is the reason to pay.

The series section is the easiest way in. Episode 1 plays with no sign-up at all; episode 2 asks for a free account. After that, regular series charge 12 tokens an episode, rising to 30 when a star's AI twin is in the lead. The Spicy series do not even show up for visitors without a subscription. In our experience it is legit. Charges and renewals matched what was announced. When we cancelled it took a minute, cost nothing, and our Premium time and tokens stayed until the paid period ran out. Payments go through Visa, MasterCard or crypto.
