Staycation with My Fiancee's Mother packs five Candy Shorts episodes into a home getaway, each shorter than two minutes. Veronica Parker, a Candy character, is the lead. The heat lands at Red hot, 4 of 5 flames, with Veronica holding back in the free pair and going further in the paid ones.
The setup
Episode 1 begins with the engaged couple arriving for a holiday week. Her mother, Veronica, welcomes them with sharp humor and a toast to a week with nothing planned. Her husband is delayed, so the evening has an extra empty chair.
When the fiancee heads to bed, Veronica asks the future son-in-law for a dance, and the mood shifts from polite to loaded. She is clearly in no hurry. Episode 2 raises the stakes with the household close by, and episode 1 is the best place to start.
The lake setting keeps everyone under one roof with nowhere to hide, which is exactly what the story wants.
The cast
Veronica Parker, a grown woman in the story, is an invented AI character and nobody's twin. The fiancee, the father and the groom are Candy characters as well. Nobody here is a real performer's likeness.
Because the group is so small, every scene stays focused on the three of them. The humor is dry, and the pacing leaves room for glances before anything else happens.

Should you watch Staycation with My Fiancee's Mother?
The slow, polished flirtation is the draw, and the holiday setting gives the story a plausible reason to keep the secret going.
You will like it if viewers who like a confident older woman setting the pace will get what they came for.
Pass if you dislike betrayal storylines, because the whole plot hangs on one.
