Riley First, Regina Next is a Candy Shorts series that stretches over 5 episodes of under two minutes each. Its leads, Riley and her stepmother Regina, are fictional Candy characters, not licensed twins. Heat: Red hot, 4 of 5 flames.
Setting the scene
Riley drags her boyfriend Jack out of bed, frets about her outfit, and brings him along to see her stepmother after two years apart. Regina greets them warmly, and her compliments to Jack land with extra weight.
While Riley chatters about her busy life, the stepmother's attention drifts toward him. Episode 2 turns that glance into something playful. Try episode 1 and watch the first hint. Jack, the boyfriend, is the one stuck in the middle of it, and the opening party scene keeps him there.
Who is who
Riley and Regina are fictional AI characters, with no real performer behind either, and Regina is an adult tied to Riley by her parent's marriage. Something with a similar family triangle is Wife's Step Sister. Jack, Riley's boyfriend, and Regina complete the trio at the center of the story.
