Bree Whitlock is about to get married, and in My Best Friend's Bride she has other plans for the best man. The wedding-eve drama runs five Candy Shorts episodes, each shorter than two minutes, and every role belongs to a Candy character instead of a star's twin. The flame score reads 4 of 5, Red hot.

The setup, two days out

Episode 1 finds the best man arriving at the pre-wedding house, where the groom is busy with the caterer and the bride is not. She jokes with him, then asks for help upstairs with a dress fitting because her fiance is hopeless with zippers and always dozing off.

Her teasing carries a confession: she has been looking at him for years and he never made a move. He tells her to stop, reminding her whose she is, and the episode ends before we learn whether he means it.

Episode 2, free with an account, should push that standoff further. You can press play on episode 1 as a guest.

Bride, groom and best man

Nobody on screen is a real performer's likeness. Bree is an AI-made character, and the groom and best man are in the same boat. All three are adults with a long shared history, which is what gives the dilemma its weight. A similar betrayal story is Tori's Broken Vows.
