Red hot

Veronica Parker, a Candy character, plays the stepmother who writes the law in House Rules, a run of five episodes that never pass two minutes. Our flame score reads Red hot, 4 of 5 flames, with the early rules only teasing and the explicit scenes coming once tokens are involved. The people involved are adults and the story is invented.

Rule number one

Veronica greets her stepson at the door with open arms and the news that his father is travelling, which leaves the two of them alone in the house. He is already uneasy because his girlfriend is due to visit, and Veronica turns that into a game of numbered commands, from where he puts his bags to what he does about the hot tub.

By the close of episode 1 the second rule has landed, and episode 2 raises the stakes as the girlfriend's visit gets closer. Open episode 1 and judge the tone yourself.

Veronica and the house guests

Veronica Parker is an AI character built for Candy Shorts, not a twin of a real performer. Her stepson and his girlfriend complete the trio, and the step-link is marriage, not family blood.

Paying for the rest

No payment is needed for the first pair of episodes: the opener plays openly and the follow-up wants a free account. The rest of Veronica's rulebook is 12 tokens per episode across three episodes, 3 × 12 = 36 tokens.

Should you watch House Rules?

A confident, bossy-in-a-fun-way lead makes this one easy to follow, and the girlfriend subplot adds a ticking clock. Good value at 36 tokens.

You will like it if people who enjoy dominant older-woman energy and the thrill of a secret under a shared roof will find a lot here.

Pass if bossy leads put you off or if you prefer stories without a partner waiting in the wings.
